What was the last thing you made?
I created "A Fountain of Eternal Youth" as the result of the research residency about pharmaceutical pollution in water. The water is infused with human growth hormone, a common anti-aging supplement, and moves through stroboscopes and water clocks to demonstrate the relationship of the flow of time and water and the inability to conceive of cause and effect relationships in terms of large scale ecologies. The piece blends myth and technology to show our current narratives about technological progress are a form of myth-making too.
