New Hampshire based contemporary artist Valerie Vermeulen is an abstract /mixed- media painter and fine-art photographer. Originally a poet, Valerie creates imagery based on nature, shape, color, and line. She has exhibited both regionally and nationally, and has been represented by the Patricia Carega Gallery in Sandwich, New Hampshire for the past seven years. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Art Practice at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
