Roxanne Faber Savage

Class of 2020


Roxy Savage was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and lives and works in Connecticut and New York City. Roxy is a teaching artist and multidisciplinary artist, working in installation, printmaking, fiber, and time based media. Her artworks are inspired by the stuff of daily life. She uses visual symbols, assorted found supplies and objects to explore themes of domestic work, personal identity and the unknown.

Roxy plays with materials and ideas that speak to serious, comic and odd aspects of life. Swimming, photography, drawing, shopping/hunting and digital work are all essential elements in her alchemic artistic process.

Her works are held in private and corporate collections and exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the United States and beyond. Roxy is currently an MFA candidate in the graduate Art Practice program at The School of Visual Arts, NYC. Degrees: BFA, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY; MS.
