AP alumni Ben Quesnel and Christine Stiver (‘17) have created the first annual SOUR MILK Art Exhibition, staged for one day only in an unoccupied house in Greenwich, Connecticut. Among the artists in the show are fellow alumni Alexandra Hammond (‘15), Huiqi He (‘18), Tzirel Kaminetzky (‘17), JD Raenbeau (‘15) and faculty/staff member Jacquelyn Strycker.
Several MFA AP students and alumni are part of this group screening at the Spectacle Theater in Williamsburg, Brooklyn: Huiqi He (AP '18), Alyssa Shuey (AP '18), Astrid Bai (AP '18) and Ezra Hubbard (AP '19).
Huiqi's practice uses video, painting and other media to focuses on the formation of disciplinary space, explore the influence of the rule and inertia in daily life experience. Her works often present the contradiction between individuals and collective , and standards in the modern space. Huiqi He (b. 1994, Changsha, China) is an artist based in New York.
