Christianne Ebel
Class of 2022
Christianne Ebel, a freelance photographer, is from a multicultural, multigenerational household in NJ. She was surrounded by stories from all corners of the world growing up. These stories became part of her, caused her to seek out how people, things, events, cultures, and silent moments come together to make a narrative. She turned to photography to tell such narratives, real or not. Christianne was the American recipient of the American Scandinavian Society’s 2009 Cultural Grant and her work entitled, Sverige: a photographic monologue, exhibited at the Rydals Museum in Sweden. Currently she divides her time between NJ, and Karlstad, Sweden.
