Nicolas Touron creates engaging and complex work in both painting and sculpture that, through concepts of movement, evolution, characters, and motifs, suggest larger narratives. His work has been exhibited extensively, including at Wave Hill, Bronx; the International Print Center NY; Kunstall, Rotterdam; Pera Museum, Istanbul; and Tropen Museum, Amsterdam, among others. He is the recipient of grants or fellowships from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC); Socrates Sculpture Park; the Lower East Side Printshop; and the Fullbright Fellowship Commission.
