Lindsay Kane

Class of 2018

Through a wide variety of media, Guam-based artist Lindsay Kane considers the effects of institutional complicity over the individual. Kane suggests that through the production and transformative experience of art, one may have the ability to erase the past and change one's constitution. Through prints, objects, and video her work points to the inclusion of exclusion, and the silly magic of obfuscation. Lindsay believes her work is a catalyst through which an experience can happen. She holds a BFA from the College of Santa Fe and an MA in printmaking from the University of Guam.
