Jacquelyn Strycker

Jacquelyn Strycker is a Brooklyn based artist and culture producer. Interested in the synthesis of craft, home, life and art, she often organizes creative social activities, frequently centered around food, drawing and games, to foster community and explore notions of hospitality and exchange. Her work has been exhibited internationally, and she has participated in residencies at ArtPod (Berlin, Germany), Gaia Studio (Jersey City, NJ), The Women’s Studio Workshop (Rosendale, NY) and the Vermont Studio Center (Johnson, VT). From 2012-2013, she was a writing fellow for Createquity. She’s received grants from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, FIGMENT, and the Action Arts League. Strycker has a BA from Columbia University and an MFA from Tyler School of Art.
