Allison Hewitt Ward is a founding editor of Caesura, where she is a regular contributor. Her articles, reviews and essays address the incomplete promises of modernity and modernism and investigates the intersections between art and politics. She is currently conducting historical work on the universal survey museum.
Her work has appeared in Caesura, The Brooklyn Rail, Even Magazine and is anthologized in Out of Practice: 10 Issues of Even.
She teaches at SVA in the MFA Art Practice and Continuing Education departments.
